I love the Food Network. I don’t know why, but I find it entertaining to watch other people cook. Paula Deen is my personal favorite, probably because her dishes remind me of what my Grandmother used to cook. And while we’re talking about Paula, I can’t believe that she has taken some heat for her high calorie, high fat recipes. Seriously?!? What did you expect? She’s from South Georgia where the only two ways to prepare food is either fried, or deep fried!! All the haters out there need to chickity check themselves! Paula is catching flack because she has recently admitted to having Diabetes all the while continuing to recommend recipes that certainly don’t help a Diabetic diet.
Two words for you: So What!!! If you don’t want to eat soul food, don’t eat it!! But don’t look down your skinny Vegan nose at those that do! I am chubby on purpose seeing as though I have never accidentally eaten anything! I’m glad Paula’s fat because I personally believe the following: Never trust a skinny chef!
Moral to the story: do you “eat” your own “recipes” or just talk about them?

That must be my problem–fried or deep fried! Loved it, Jason, but then I always do!
I love it! Huge fan of Paula Deen and my boss/brother has always said “never trust a skinny chef”……….:Ya’ll!
